What affects your quote
Number of pages
A few well-designed pages start at $1,500. Each extra page type adds design and build time.
Bookings and ecommerce
Online booking, shops and payments take more setup and testing, so they’re quoted to scope.
Content
Bring your own words and photos, or have me write SEO-friendly content for you.
Branding
Branding starts from $600, and costs less when it’s bundled with your website.
Integrations
Connecting booking systems, CRMs or email tools is priced by what’s involved.
Ongoing care
Optional hosting and maintenance is a simple monthly fee covering updates, backups and edits.
Two ways to look after your site
I can organise your domain and hosting for you. Once your site is live, there are two ways to run it, depending on how hands-on you want to be. Either way, you’ll know the exact cost up front.
Managed by me
The simpler, lower-cost option
I host your site and look after everything. When you need a change, like new photos, prices or opening hours, you send it to me and I make it. One monthly fee covers your hosting and your edits.
- Hosting included in the monthly fee
- Domain, SSL, backups and updates handled
- Send me your changes and I make them
- Nothing technical for you to manage
Self-managed with WordPress
Best if you want to edit it yourself
I set your site up with an external hosting provider, with a WordPress content management system (CMS) so you can log in and manage your own blog posts, pages and content whenever you like. Hosting is paid to the host.
- Set up on an external host in your name
- WordPress CMS to manage your own content
- Add blog posts and update pages yourself
- Hosting billed by the provider, usually monthly
Questions, answered
Why do you publish prices when agencies don’t?
Because you should know roughly what you’re getting into before you pick up the phone. Every quote is still built around your business, but there are no surprises.
What makes a website cost more than $1,500?
More pages, online bookings, ecommerce, integrations with other systems, and content writing. Everything is quoted clearly up front, so you know the full price before anything starts.
Do you offer payment plans?
Projects are usually split into a deposit and final payment tied to the stages of the build. If you need something different, just ask.
Are there ongoing costs?
Yes, hosting and your domain renewal. You can choose to have me host and manage the site for one monthly fee that includes your edits, or have it set up with an external host and WordPress so you can manage it yourself and pay the host directly.
