Small-group reformer classes in a light-filled studio in Bronte. Expert cueing, honest programming and a room full of people who remember your name.
Never been on a reformer? Start with Reformer Foundations.
Every class is capped at eight reformers, so your instructor can actually see you. Levels are a guide, not a gate: we'll offer options for every body in the room.
Learn the machine, the springs and the language. Footwork, bridging, feet in straps and a slow build of core control. The best place to start, even if you've done a few classes elsewhere.
Our signature class. A full-body sequence that moves from long box to short spine, with plenty of standing work and side splits to finish. Challenging, breath-led, never rushed.
Low-impact plyometrics on the reformer. Interval jumping blocks paired with strength work to get your heart rate up without pounding your knees. Bring a towel.
Small-range pulses, standing lunges and the burn you'll feel tomorrow. Ballet-inspired sequences on a light spring load, finishing with a long stretch.
Classical-inspired mat work with small props: ring, ball and bands. The hundred, roll ups, the series of five. Deceptively hard and wonderful for posture.
Gentle reformer work for each trimester and the months after. Pelvic floor connection, breath and upper-body strength for all that lifting. GP or physio clearance required postnatally.
One-on-one or with a friend, on the reformer or Cadillac. Ideal for injury rehab, pre-surgery strength or refining technique before joining group classes.
Eight reformers and two towers in one calm, bright room upstairs. Equipment is wiped down between every class and the springs are checked each month.
Every option includes reformer, mat and barre classes. Prices include GST. Towels and filtered water are always on us.
I opened Tidemark because I wanted a studio that felt like the ocean pool at seven in the morning. Calm, a bit cold, full of regulars who look out for each other.
Imogen Hale, founder. Twelve years teaching, comprehensively certified, still takes the Saturday 7am.
Every Tidemark instructor holds a comprehensive certification and completes our in-house training before teaching a class. They'll learn your injuries, your goals and your coffee order.
Foundations & Pre/Postnatal
A former physio assistant who loves a beginner. Priya is patient, precise and brilliant at helping new mums rebuild strength from the inside out.
Jumpboard & Flow
Surf lifesaver, ex-rugby, reformed skeptic. Tom teaches the sweatiest class on the timetable and somehow makes you laugh through the last round of jumps.
Barre Reformer
Trained in contemporary dance in Buenos Aires before finding Pilates through injury. Expect beautiful choreography, great playlists and very tired glutes.
Mat & Flow
Jade came to Pilates through a back injury and stayed for the detail. A classical nerd with a clinical eye, she'll find muscles you forgot you owned.
Everyone was new once, including our instructors. This is exactly what happens from booking to your first set of footwork.
Grab the intro offer and choose any Reformer Foundations session. Tell us about injuries, pregnancy or anything else in the booking notes.
Grip socks are required on the reformer for hygiene and safety. Forgot them? We'll give you a pair free at your first class. Wear fitted activewear so we can see your alignment.
We'll show you the lockers, walk you to your reformer and explain springs, footbar and headrest before anyone else arrives.
Your instructor will offer lighter or heavier springs throughout. Resting is always allowed. Shaking legs are completely normal.
Ask questions, grab a cup of tea and we'll suggest your next class. Expect to feel it in your core the next morning.
I've tried every big-box reformer chain in the Eastern Suburbs. Tidemark is the first place where someone actually corrected my form, and my lower back has never felt better.
Priya's postnatal class got me back to feeling like myself after my second bub. Gentle, clever and zero judgement.
Tom's 6am Jumpboard then a dip at Bronte pool. Best start to the day in Sydney, honestly.
Not at all. Start with Reformer Foundations, where we teach the equipment and the core principles. Most people move into Reformer Flow after four to six classes.
Yes, for every reformer class. They stop you slipping on the footbar and keep the equipment clean. We sell them at reception for $18, and your first pair is free with the intro offer.
Cancel at least 12 hours before class and your credit comes straight back. Late cancellations and no-shows lose the class credit, or incur a $15 fee for unlimited members. Waitlisted? You'll be auto-added up to 2 hours before class.
Usually, yes. Let us know when you book and your instructor will offer modifications. For recent surgery or ongoing pain we recommend a private first, and we're happy to work alongside your physio.
Two-hour street parking on the surrounding streets, a bus stop a short walk away, and bike racks by the front door.
