What we treat

Tell us where it hurts.

Tap a point on the body map, or pick from the list. These are the problems we see every week on Bondi Road, from a tweaked shoulder after a surf to a knee that needs rebuilding after surgery.

  • Sprains, strains, surfer's shoulder and rolled ankles. Settle the pain, then rebuild strength.

  • Lower back pain, sciatica and stiff desk necks, eased with movement and hands-on care.

  • ACL, knee and hip replacements and shoulder repairs, following your surgeon's protocol.

Good questions

Before you book.

Do I need a referral?

No. Physios are first-contact practitioners, so you can book directly. You only need a GP referral if you're claiming through Medicare (a Chronic Disease Management plan), DVA, or your WorkCover or CTP insurer asks for one.

What should I wear?

Something comfortable you can move in. For knee, hip or ankle problems, shorts are ideal. For backs, necks and shoulders, a singlet or loose top helps. We have towels and gowns if you'd rather change here.

Can I claim on my health fund?

Yes, if your extras cover includes physiotherapy. We claim on the spot with HICAPS, so you just pay the gap. Rebates vary by fund and level of cover, so it's worth checking your remaining limit before you come in.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the problem, but we'll give you an honest estimate at your first visit. Many people with recent injuries need three to five sessions, with more of the work done at home through your exercise program.

Do you do dry needling and Clinical Pilates?

Yes. Dry needling is available as part of your treatment with Tom, and 1:1 Clinical Pilates rehab sessions can be booked once you've had an initial assessment.
